HM Treasury sickness absence figures
An analysis of sickness absence in the Civil Service for the financial year 2006/07 has been published by the Cabinet Office.
For financial year 2006/07, HM Treasury has recorded the following sickness absence rates:
Average working days lost per staff year: 5.6
Proportion of staff with sickness absence recorded: 33.5%
Proportion of days lost to long-term sickness: 64%
Proportion of staff who took long-term sickness: 3.8%
