Errata

When we discover larger errors we explain this and then publish the corrected PDFs here and correct the downloadable data below. We do not correct the original PDFs above.

Table 1.9
This has been amended to correct the figures for the administration Budget of the Department for International Development in 2005-06 and 2006-07. The figure for the administration Budget for 2005-06 has been changed from £343m to £216m, and in 2006-07 from £236m to £235m (19 May 2006).

The figure for Total Central Government Capital Expenditure on Services in 2004-05 was incorrectly published as ‘7,941’ due to a typographical error. This should read ‘17,941’ (19 May 2006).

Downloadable data

Public spending budgetary data and spending by function are published annually in Chapters 1 and 3 of Public Expenditure Statistical Analyses (PESA). Key public spending budgetary and functional series are updated at three other times of the year through the Public Spending Annual Outturns News Release . The latest budgetary and functional data, and all Chapters of PESA are available in excel and comma separated variables formats below. These downloads incorporate the corrections described above.
