The costings work of opposition parties policies that has been carried out by HM Treasury or other government departments in the previous 12 months.

The following six costings are held and disclosed:
- offering single rooms to all hospital patients that want them (PDF 718KB)
- introducing a high-speed North-South rail link (PDF 87KB)
- introducing policies in 'Prison with a purpose: Our sentencing and rehabilitation revolution to break the cycle of crime' (PDF 136KB)
- restoring the three infantry battalions that have been disbanded under the present administration (PDF 136KB)
- creating 223,00 new primary and secondary places in New Academies (PDF 115KB)
- increasing nil rate band on inheritance tax to £1,000,000 with effect from April 2009 (PDF 423KB)
