Infrastructure finance

The Infrastructure finance team provides advice within Government on matters related to the financing of infrastructure and other commercial financing issues. The infrastructure finance team is currently leading the implementation of several initiatives including the UK Guarantee Scheme and the Business Finance Partnership. It is also working with the pension industry to develop new routes to market for public and private sector pension schemes to invest in infrastructure. The team supports UK Trade and Investment in the Government’s Strategic Relations programme to encourage inward investment in the UK’s infrastructure.
