Infrastructure
The Government recognises the importance of taking a joined-up approach to infrastructure and the National Infrastructure Plan 2011 sets out its current work programme.
The engineering and interdependencies expert group (EIEG) contributes to the Government’s work in this area, giving their valuable time and expertise to studying this issue. The Group is chaired by Professor Jeremy Watson, Chief Scientific Adviser at the Department for Communities and Local Government and comprises a range of academics, industrial engineers and others.
