International climate change

The 2010 Spending Review recognised the growing importance and urgency of tackling climate change and its impact on growth and poverty reduction in the developing world. The UK will provide £2.9 billion over the spending review period, to enable the UK to help developing countries both adapt to the impacts of climate change and move onto a low carbon growth path.  This fully funds the UK’s commitment to deliver £1.5 billion Fast Start finance, which enables developing countries to enhance the action they can take on climate change.
