International development, development finance, and climate
HM Treasury is responsible for setting the budget of the Department for International Development (DFID) and other departments that spend Official Development Assistance (ODA). This includes working with Departments to ensure that they fulfil their spending settlement commitments, maximise value for money and improve transparency in forecasting and public spending.
